Grant Wears Warby Parker

I got my second set of at home try ons from Warby Parker and thought that Grant might like to try them on, too.  What a ham!  My favorite is the top left, "How YOU doin'?"

Gnome Sighting

Or first gnome sighting was in the woods at Grandma Ruth's house. With increasing urbanization, gnomes have adapted and we've discovered one living in our house!

Some Bunny Loves You...Happy Easter from Grant

Today was Grant's second Easter. We started the day with bunny pancakes made by mommy followed by an Easter egg hunt throughout the backyard. We used eggs he helped dye as well as ones with surprises inside. He looked everywhere including under the dog, Bailey. We then looked at pictures and videos from Easter last year. Happy Easter Everyone!

First Easter Egg Dying

Squiggy Hair

For those of you old enough to remember the Laverne & Shirley TV show, you'll also remember Squiggy and his greasy hair.  Grant does a Squiggy impression and gives Dad the raspberry.

More Gardening Gear Fun

This green wheelbarrow is a favorite when playing in the back yard.  He hauls everything from rocks and leaves to "sauce" his special concoction of water, weeds and dirt.

Gardening Attire

Grant took to the large straw hat and gardening gloves like a fish to water.  Here's to my little helper!
(This was back in October 2013.)

Late Afternoon Swing in the Park

Grant loves whooshing through the air and his laughter is infectious.

Happy Holi!

Today, Grant experienced the Hindu celebration of Holi, frequently referred to as Color. We all dressed in white and watched as everyone had lots of fun throwing different colors around. That was until a friendly lady got Grant right on the cheek with green! then he was all about getting messy and full of color.

Speed Racer

For Christmas, Grant got a shiny new Corvette Power Wheels car. What a lucky 2-year-old! Dad and Grant had fun putting everything together and then waited a full day to charge the battery. Grant started his driver's education in the kitchen, then moved to the driveway, and now is a pro sidewalk cruiser.

Happy Holidays from Grant!

We spent the holiday season at Grandma Ruth's farm in Washington again. Grant was so helpful around the house getting ready for two parties. He also explored the woods with Mom and Dad throughout the week.

Happy Holidays from all of us, especially Grant.

Funny and Scarry

Grant's favorite books are by Richard Scarry and we found a DVD with animations from the same books. Grant cracks up at the characters' antics...

Halloween Street Fashion

Here's a pic from the street when we were about to go trick-or-treating in our friend's festive neighborhood.  Grant got into the spirit, said "Twick o tweet" and "Sank you" after people put candy in his bucket.  He still loves to wear his scuba belt.

Happy Halloween from Grant

For Halloween this year, Rebecca came up with a fun idea for costumes. Grant was a scuba diver and we were each sharks. Grandma Ruth did a great job sewing teeth and fins onto grey hoodies while Nick worked on the scuba gear. Grant even had a pacifier regulator.

We had a great Halloween with trick-or-treating and lots of laughs with our costumes.

Return to Railroad Park

Grant's first visit to the Railroad Park in Scottsdale was for his first Easter Egg hunt. He did not have the opportunity to ride any of the trains that day so while Grandma Ruth is in town we decided to return and let him ride each of the trains.

Pumpkin Time Again

We took Grant back to the same pumpkin farm as last year so he could walk through the fields and pick out his favorite one. We are going through all of the pictures from the day. Here are just a few.
